We are passionate about helping the young people we serve to become well rounded individuals and in giving them the tools they need to succeed. Parkour Coaches

Job overview:

Parkour DXB is a growing coaching organisation looking to expand its team of international, professional coaches. We are excited to offer some attractive packages for full time coaching positions.

Candidates should be experienced in working with young kids and teenagers and have relevant qualifications or experience. The role will involve coaching our Academy Curriculum program to young people aged from 3 to 16, as well as the occasional adult class. In addition to our academy classes, the role requires the delivery of Parkour Birthday Parties and events at weekends and also seasonal camps during the school holidays. The majority of the coaching will take place in one of our academies in Dubai but may require occasional coaching to take place outside, at local events and in schools in Dubai or one of the other emirates.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to challenge themselves and take the next step on their Parkour coaching journey. You will be trained in delivering our in-house curriculums and programs and also have the opportunity to contribute to their development.

The Role

You will be working predominantly under the supervision of our Lead coaches to deliver classes and programs of groups of up to 8 students. You will be inducted and trained by the Head Coach and Coaching Supervisor on the delivery of our programs and with developing your coaching skills. You will be expected to work 6 days per week, up to 42 hours. Your coaching load of around 25 classes per week, with any remaining time being used for coaching-related administration, communication with parents and other projects.

Over time you will be given opportunities to coach more independently, working towards the opportunity to be promoted to a Lead Coach position. Your eligibility will be dependant on your performance and on the completion of goals and targets set by the Head Coach.

We would expect you to have a passion for not only Parkour but also for passing on its teachings to young people. We are looking for a team player that will be an active member of our community of colleagues and embody our company values stated above.

Responsibilities:

Specific Role Requirements

  • Coaching
    • Academy kids aged 5-16yrs
    • Coaching our 3-4yrs age
    • Coaching adults
    • Coaching at satellite locations
    • Coaching workshops, birthdays and private lessons
    • Planning of own lessons based upon the Academy Curriculum
    • Maintaining achievement records of students
    • Providing feedback to students and parents
  • Keeping the coaching area clean and disinfected
  • Supervising open gym
  • Attending team meetings
  • Attending regular team training
  • Other project-related work

General

Experience, education, training and skills/characteristics:

Essential

  • An active practitioner of Parkour
  • At least 1 year of relevant coaching experience
  • Police background check from home country
  • Valid Passport

Desirable

  • Parkour Coaching Qualification (ADAPT, ParkourEDU, etc.)
  • First Aid Certification
  • Child Protection Certification
  • Driving License

Salary & Benefits:

Customer Service and Administration Representative

Job overview:

We are a vibrant and fast-moving company where we focus on delivering high-quality sports coaching and excellent customer service in a friendly and welcoming environment. The majority of our services are aimed at children and young people, as well as some adult classes, which we are hoping to expand.

We are looking for a professional, enthusiastic and motivated Customer Service and Administration Representative to provide administrative support, outstanding service and a warm and friendly welcome to all of our existing and prospective customers.

The Team

The company consists of a number of qualified sports coaches supported by administrative staff and management. We are a small team with a supportive, friendly working environment striving to achieve high standards in everything we do.

We are committed to creating a community and helping people to become the best they can be, for themselves and the world around them. These values underpin everything that we do and extend beyond our students to include our staff and everyone we interact with.

The Role

You will join the Head of Customer Service and Administration to support the day-to-day operations of the company, providing a welcoming and professional presence on reception for all customer interactions. You will need to develop a thorough knowledge and understanding of all of our services, and aim to build and maintain good relationships with customers, to enable you to provide an efficient service, encourage customer loyalty and generate new sales.

About You

The Customer Service and Administration Representative will be organised, hardworking and flexible with experience of working in a demanding customer service role. You will need to be able to work using your own initiative, multi-task and have the capacity to communicate well on all levels with children and adults, including existing and prospective customers.

Responsibilities:

Specific Role Requirements

  • Manage enquiries, bookings and payments for classes at our facilities
  • Develop proficiency in the use of our client management system to manage services, complete bookings and keep customer records up to date
  • Respond to phone calls, emails, and messages promptly and thoroughly
  • Generate new sales proactively, and execute sales confidently, in person, via phone and email
  • Complete transactions efficiently and keep payment records up to date
  • Manage customer concerns and issues in a calm and confident manner
  • Maintain good communication with the coaching team through relevant updates on student details and providing non-coaching support when required
  • Help to maintain a high standard of organisation and cleanliness in all areas of the facility, particularly the reception
  • Undertake other administrative tasks as required

Experience, education, training and skills/characteristics:

Essential

  • Experience of providing high quality customer service in a similar face-to-face role
  • Experience in an administrative role
  • Educated to college level or equivalent
  • Experience of using CRM (client relationship management) systems and/or databases
  • Fully proficient in use of computer systems including spreadsheets and word processing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and an excellent command of the English language
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work well in a busy environment
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • A friendly, welcoming and helpful nature
  • A polite and professional attitude with the ability to remain calm in difficult situations
  • A strong work ethic and a commitment to perform the job to the best of your ability

  • Experience of working in the sport and fitness industry
